This year’s Holiday Home Tour is more than just a celebration of the season—it’s also an opportunity to give back. All proceeds from the tour will benefit Raising Arrows, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to serving foster and kinship families in our community.
Raising Arrows provides meaningful support to families who have opened their homes to children in need—whether through foster care, kinship care, or adoption. By offering resources, experiences, and encouragement, Raising Arrows helps strengthen these families and enrich the lives of children who deserve stability, love, and belonging.

Who we support
The Story Behind They Why
One day I received a call from Raising Arrows, a local nonprofit that serves foster and kinship families in Bellefontaine. They told me about one of their foster families—a single mother caring for a house full of girls—who had just suffered a heartbreaking loss. One of the little girls had passed away unexpectedly, and everyone who knew this family felt the weight of that tragedy.
Raising Arrows asked if I could help put together a tea party for the family—a way for the girls to honor and remember their foster sister. I was humbled to say yes. Together with community partners, we created something truly special:

Ell-A Design generously donated the space.

Sweetie Pie’s of West Liberty provided food for the girls.

Our local dahlia farmer donated full plants, some over four feet tall.

And with the help of Dorcey’s, we transformed it all into a magical tea party where the girls laughed, reflected, and cut their own flowers from an indoor flower farm we created just for them.
That day, I saw firsthand what Raising Arrows does—the way they show up for families in their hardest moments and create spaces of love and healing. It stayed with me.
For over a year, I thought about how I could give back. I’ve always loved Christmas, and I believe every child deserves to experience the joy of the season. So when I learned that Raising Arrows wanted to provide zoo memberships as Christmas gifts for their families, I knew the Holiday Home Tour was the perfect way to help.
This tour isn’t just about stepping inside beautiful homes—historic treasures and new builds alike—it’s about coming together as a community to create something magical and meaningful. Every ticket sold helps us bring joy, support, and lasting memories to foster and kinship families through Raising Arrows.
